Dear ShirleyAnn,
Today, six years ago, at 4:05am, you entered Heaven. I cannot conceive in my finite mind the beauty, the peace, and the joy you must have felt at that moment.
For the first time in 58 years, I faced life without you. What a strange contrast–you experiencing ultimate life in Jesus’ Presence while we are dealing with our greatest loss–your presence.
Inside, I am conflicted with a wide range of emotions–pain, confusion, anger, and loneliness. Still, after six years, it is hard to face each day without you. From the moment we became one, our togetherness was our strength and our joy. Truly, we were inseparable.
Heaven is brighter, more real, more desirable than ever before. Earth is more challenging, more difficult, more evil than ever before.
You are always what made life worth living. Earth was blessed because of you, and I’m sure Heaven is too.
I love you forever!
